Reviews
This was a last minute late night stop for us, trying to find somewhere to eat in at around 21:30-21:45 - most places we found finished serving at 21:00 so our options were limited. Foundry 39 serve food until 22:00. The food we had was nice and tasty but the choices were a little limited for someone who needs gluten free. The cocktails we had were nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The plates are good, drinks too and the ambiant is pretty. The waiters are nice and the service is pretty fast.
However they put several charges on the ticket without saying anything and for more than 15% of the total amount.
Friendly staff, good burgers. Drinks were also good. I had the Rhubarb & Custard at the suggestion of another Google review but it was SO sweet. Would have been better at the end of dinner. I did enjoy the Blackberry and Cucumber smash much better! I also had my burger naked and it was good but didn’t have any dressing so I used the house hot sauce at the table and it was good. We were also charged for two extra drinks by mistake, thankfully we caught it and it was fixed.
I also recommend the messy chocolate donut dessert to share! It was huge and delicious. Perfect for 4 of us!
Always feel very warmly welcomed. We had booked ahead and were given a lovely comfortable table. Food was delicious - really like the small sharing plates. Enjoyed a couple of really good cocktails and it was all very reasonably priced. Definitely hope to return again soon - also really appreciate F39 being dog friendly! ☺️
When I walked in the staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was great. I ordered a Chicken budda bowl which looked great when it came, only to find out the chicken was pink inside. They offered me the meal for free, but I was not impressed as I’d eaten most of it already!
Great variety of food and drinks. It was the day of the Scotland Vs Ireland rugby match so the food service was extremely slow. Perhaps more staff on in the kitchen for days like that. Overall, had a good experience though. Highly recommend a visit.
Didn't look like the most fun place to go from the outside but inside it's a while different world. Very nice place to sit, chat, drink and eat. Prices were fine and food was good. Very good staff which came over multiple times tonask if all was fine. Burgers and pizza's were good as well as the drinks. Stayes here longer as expected upfront which was a good thing.
Amazing cocktails and super fast service too. Never been here before but will definitely come back! Big shout out to Tilly for the amazing service.
